Hi friend! My name is Nidia Gonzalez (my middle name is Lizbet hence the domain nidializbet.com) growing up my entire family would only call me “Lis” and I never understood why. I would even try to hide that “part of me” with my friends. Fast forward to today and I proudly show off “that side of me.”
I was born and raised in Southern California but both my parents are from Mexico so I am 100% Mexican. My husband was also born in Mexico and I love that we get to pass on this beautiful culture to our children. I met my husband at church about 10 yrs. ago, he was the youth pastor and I was involved in the choir. We have since been involved in church planting and are currently residing and serving the beautiful city of Santa Ana.
We have been happily married for almost 9 yrs. now and have three awesome kids; Samuel Gael who is 5, Nia Giuliana who is 4, and Nora Grace who is 10 months old. As you can imagine we have a very busy life surrounded by full time ministry and kids, but we strive to maintain a slow, and intentional lifestyle where our children can grow up to be confident and kind humans. We seek the word of God daily and we love sharing community with other families. I am constantly reading parenting articles and pinteresting ideas to find the best activities, recipes, and home hacks. I absolutely love sharing everything I find in hopes that it can lessen the weight of everyday life. I share my personal struggles in motherhood and intentional living testimony with you in hopes that you gain back the confidence to achieve everything God has prepared for you! I want you to know that I am just like you and I have many ups and downs, I have the same feelings of doubt and insecurity as a mom and those feelings are real, and overwhelming. But my hope lies in what Jesus already accomplished for me, so I can confidently rely on his strength to get me through my fears. Through Jesus, I have the assurance that it’s not what I can do, but in who I am; a child of a living God and that is more than enough to equip me in my everyday living. If there’s anything you can take from here is that you are not alone, sister! I’m excited to share this space with you! Thank you for stopping by!
